Lauren Spierer's parents say they are disappointed at official's decision to remove a "Find Lauren" button from Indiana University's homepage.
According to BPD, there are no updates regarding the ongoing effort at the landfill.
Many critics are asking why it took so long for authorities to broaden their search for missing IU student Lauren Spierer to include a Vigo County landfill.
The searches over the past three weeks have covered a 10 mile radius from where she was last seen.
Saturday is “Find Lauren Day” and the Spierer’s hope volunteers will help canvass the area in the search for their daughter.
Volunteers are urged to gather at 8 a.m. at McNutt Quad on the IU Campus.
A vehicle seen in surveillance footage from the night Lauren Spierer was last seen is the focus of the investigation.
A reward is now being offered in the case of missing IU student, Lauren Spierer.
