State and local departments in charge of keeping streets clean and safe during winter say they still have extra money from last winter.
The winter in Indiana has been the mildest since 2002 and the 11th warmest in weather record keeping history.
The money most city and county departments saved because of the mild winter will get spent in other areas and will not be kept within the departments.
