The Senate scrapped a House-passed bill to let Marion and Hamilton Counties vote on a local income-tax hike, in favor of a legislative study committee.
A House committee will vote Wednesday on a bill that would allow Marion and Hamilton County voters to decide whether to raise local income taxes.
