The drought means less food on the vine. That, in turn, leaves less food to be donated to Indiana food banks.
Local food pantries are getting a last minute boost of donations this week.
The resort is trying to find use for food that would otherwise be discarded. The food bank has seen a 40 percent increase in local food distribution this year.
