The Greensburg Honda plant has plans to add 1,000 jobs before the end of the year.
Greensburg Honda Plant officials are adjusting production levels in an effort to preserve parts.
A spokesperson for Honda Manufacturing of Indiana says the company’s Greensburg plant has not been affected by the natural disasters that occurred in Japan.
Honda spokesperson says past automotive experience will be a plus for prospective employees, but enthusiasm and a sense of teamwork are most important.
