The state budget error withheld millions from counties around the state, and county officials say that caused some major changes.
The Indiana Budget Committee is meeting Friday to discuss the Department of Revenue's programming error.
The state Department of Revenue found out about a programming error earlier this month, giving millions back to counties this year.
Officials say the error rates are misleading because of the way errors are counted at the federal level.
