Local officials are urging people to stay indoors and postpone traveling plans due to the continued winter weather bearing down on the state.
Freezing rain...sleet...and snow will begin across the area by this afternoon.
The winter weather advisory remains in effect until 9 A.M. Friday.
Forecasters from the National Weather Service are predicting another 3 to 6 inches of snow by Tuesday evening.
UPDATED 8:16 AM Thursday, December 16. A winter storm warning is in effect until 1 PM.
