The length of the average work week has dropped from 38 hours in 1964 to 34 hours in 2013.

Indiana‘s unemployment rate stood at 7.7 percent for April this year compared to 8.5 percent in April 2011.
However, with the improved unemployment rate, Indiana is no longer eligible for the last 20 weeks of federal unemployment benefits.
