A stage collapsed at the Indiana State Fair Saturday prior to a performance by the country music duo Sugarland.
The lawsuit accuses Sugarland and two music production companies of overloading the stage with equipment at the Indiana State Fair and failing to properly monitor weather conditions.
Sugarland responded saying the group had nothing to do with the construction of the stage at the grandstands, adding that the stage was not built specifically for the August 13 concert. Seven people died as a result of the collapse and more than 40 were injured.
