A stage collapsed at the Indiana State Fair this past summer prior to a performance by the country music duo Sugarland.
Country music duo Sugarland says they have not refused to give depositions in a lawsuit over last summer‘s stage rigging collapse at the Indiana State Fair.
In a statement released Wednesday, Sugarland‘s Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush say they “are simply refusing to be bullied into doing so on short notice without sufficient time to prepare.”
Mid-America Sound, a defendant alongside Sugarland and others over the collapse, is asking a Marion Superior Court Judge to force Sugarland to provide depositions next week. The statement says the Sugarland members have volunteered to make themselves available for depositions in May.
