A report from a Washington D.C.-based group indicates two out of every three adult men arrested in Indianapolis tested positive for illegal drugs last year.
The 2011 Arrestee Drug Abuse Monitoring Annual Report says 21 percent of the male arrestees tested positive for two or more drugs at the time of their arrest. Nearly half tested positive for marijuana.
The report did note a drop in cocaine use, however. The portion of arrestees with cocaine in their system declined from 31 percent in 2007 to 20 percent in 2011.
