Several hundred IU students are lining up in front of Assembly Hall to get the best seats for tonight’s game between the number one-ranked Hoosiers and the 14th ranked North Carolina Tarheels in the ACC – Big Ten Challenge.
The game doesn’t start until 9:30 tonight, but students with tickets in the General Admission section started camping out early this morning.
IU Athletic Director Fred Glass took part in the pre-game ritual by passing out candy and shooting tee shirts into the crowd of students trying to stay busy until the gates open at 8.
IU is 7 and 5 all-time against UNC. Each team has won five NCAA Championships.
