The student reported the assault early Thursday in a parking lot near Eigenmann Hall.
A 19-year-old Indiana University student was held at knifepoint and sexually assaulted on campus early Thursday. The man said he parked his car on the east side of Eigenmann Hall and was approached by a man who asked for directions.
The student told police the man then grabbed his arm and hair and slammed his head up against the car several times, holding a knife to his throat and sexually assaulting him. The student told police the man then ran away.
The suspect is described as a black man between 22 and 30 years old with a thin build and long hair. The student was not seriously inured, but was taken to a hospital.
