The Monroe County Democratic primary for District 2 Commissioner was won Tuesday night by Mark Stoops.
Stoops, a vocal opponent of I-69, also sits on the Bloomington-Monroe County Metropolitan Planning Organization.
He defeated Randy Paul by a 2-1 margin.
