Just a week ago the one-one-hundredth of a percent increase in the Monroe County Juvenile County Option Income Tax began taking a tiny sliver from pay checks in the county. Officials raised the levy in an effort to support the Youth Services Bureau, but in the mean time faced significant budget cuts in county departments.
