The parents of missing Indiana University student Lauren Spierer marked their daughter’s 21st birthday Tuesday with a short note posted on their website.
“Remembering today, 21 years ago, as one of the happiest days in our lives,” the Spierers wrote. “Happy Birthday, Lauren. We love you with all our hearts.”
During other anniversaries of Lauren Spierer’s disappearance, the family has written lengthier letters asking those involved in the case to speak out and provide information to the police.
Fundraisers around the area are still being planned to help the search effort.
