Kappa Alpha Theta took the first place title at the women's Little 500 race.

Students, family, and cyclists gathered Friday afternoon at the Bill Armstrong Stadium for the women’s 30th running of the Little 500 race.

Kappa Alpha Theta took the first place title. According to their website, Theta has won four times since the women’s race started in 1981.

Despite the light rainfall throughout the race, no major crashes or injuries occurred.

The men’s race is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday.
