The Under 20 CONCACAF champions Mexico National Team defeated the Indiana University men’s soccer team, the 2012 NCAA Soccer Champions, in an annual match-up on Sunday at the Jerry Yeagley Field at the Bill Armstrong Stadium.

Mexico scored the lone goal of the game in the first half, sending the visitor’s side into cheers and stomps with their bright green, red, and white Mexican flags and t-shirts.

In the past seven years, IU has won two of the games. Sunday’s game put Mexico at five wins.
