The race at the top of the Indiana ballot this election will be the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Evan Bayh. The candidates who want to replace him have both served in Congress before: current U.S. Representative Democrat Brad Ellsworth, and the man who preceded Bayh, former U.S. Senator Republican Dan Coats.
