U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly has opened a new office in Indianapolis.
Donnelly says the office is one of many that will open across the state to assist constituents, and especially veterans, with federal needs.
“Any Hoosier veteran that has a challenge or has an issue, we want to be there to help,” he says. “We want to be there to assist.”
The Indianapolis office and future offices in other Indiana cities will perform a variety of functions to help veterans, including checking on the status of Veterans Affairs compensation or disability claim, helping the vets and their family members with receiving medals or awards owed to them, or checking on the status of GI education benefits.
