Forecasters at the National Weather Service say scattered snow showers will be possible today as an upper level low settles into the Great Lakes Region. The best chances of snow will be through the mid-afternoon in the areas north of Crawfordsville, New Castle and Indianapolis. Snow showers will begin to dwindle across central Indiana after 5 P.M.
Motorists are encouraged to reduce speed as visibilities could be reduced to less than a half-mile during the heaviest showers, with the heavier snow making roads slick.
