Bloomington Police Captain Joe Qualters delivers the latest information on the Lauren Spierer case to the press.
Saturday is “Find Lauren Day”, as the search for the missing IU student continues, with search groups gathering at 8 a.m. at McNutt Quad to organize a mass search effort.
Members of the Indiana National Guard have been volunteering their efforts, and about 20 reserve members will be on hand tomorrow assisting with the search.
At a press conference moments ago, Captain Joe Qualters of the Bloomington Police Department announced that this would be the last scheduled press conference. Qualters added that he wishes he had something to report, but is confident the police will have more information soon.
More than 300 searches have been conducted from the McNutt headquarters, and there are no plans to stop those searches.
More than 1500 tips have come in, and the police have reviewed 300 hours of video footage.
Lauren Spierer has been missing since June 3.
People with any information on the case are urged to call the Bloomington Police department.
