Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has announced a new president.
James Conwell has most recently worked as Vice President of Jacobs Engineering Group, a leading global company for engineering and technical services.
Conwell will begin his role as president on May 1.
“I share a common aspiration with Rose-Hulman: a knowledge and passion that meeting the next wave of global challenges will require strong technical, creative thinkers who can work with diverse groups to bring results and solutions,” Conwell said in a press release.
Rose-Hulman began a national search for a new president after the unexpected death of President Matt Branam last April. The school’s vice president and chief administrative officer is currently serving as interim president.
