Road conditions have improved significantly since the morning commute. Indiana State Police kept busy this morning responding to vehicle slide offs and disabled cars. Bloomington post public information officer, Sgt. Curt Durnil says some roads are still slick and hazardous, but they are passable.
“As long as driver leave enough space between themselves and other drivers and they allow themselves enough time to get where they are going, the roads are going to be fine.”
Durnil says county roads remain in the worst condition, but crews will remain out throughout the day plowing and salting those areas.
