Rep. Morris says he'd have provided more information on his decision if he'd known his letter would go public.

In a letter to House Republicans, Bob Morris (R-Fort Wayne) called the girl scouts a “radicalized organization” that harbors and supports homosexuals, communists and feminists, as well as one that promotes abortion.

On Thursday, Morris released a statement to the Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette newspaper apologizing to the Girl Scouts of Indiana saying the letter was intended for his colleagues in the statehouse.     Morris says had he known the letter would go to a wider audience, he would have cited further evidence for his position.
