Red Cross Opens Emergency Shelters in Greene, Monroe Co

Due to extensive power outages across south-central Indiana, the Red Cross has opened several emergency relief shelters.

Cots are set up at Bloomington High School North

Due to extensive power outages across south-central Indiana, the Red Cross has opened several emergency relief shelters.

In Monroe County, Bloomington North’s Auxiliary Gym opened at 2 PM this afternoon. The shelter is set up to serve as many families as needed, and currently has beds for about 35 people in place.

In Greene County, the Center Township Fire Department in State Road 54 East in Little Cincinnati, and the Taylor Township Fire Department in Scotland opened at Noon Today.
