Purdue University Diver David Boudia Wins Olympic Gold

Purdue University's David Boudia claimed the gold medal in the men's 10-meter platform diving event Saturday at the London Olympics.

David Boudia earned a gold and bronze medal in the 2012 London Olympics.

American diver David Boudia won the gold medal in the 10-meter platform diving event at the 2012 London Olympics on Saturday. Boudia, who recently graduated from Purdue University and lives in Noblesville, Ind., finished with a score of 568.65.

The silver medal went to China’s Bo Qiu with a score of 566.85, and Great Britain’s Thomas Daley won the bronze with a score of 556.95.

Boudia and his teammate Nicholas McCrory also earned a bronze medal in the synchronized 10-meter platform event.
