A group formed to find the next president of Purdue University has its marching orders. The search committee met for the first time Wednesday to go over the process and learn what its role will be.
Board of Trustees Chairman Keith Krach addressed the twelve members of the panel, saying that they have an enormous task.
The search committee will seek input from stakeholders over the next few months, as well as accept nominations. Members will come up with a top ten list of candidates. Eventually, the panel will forward a short list of finalists to the board of trustees.
The executive search firm which helped Purdue hire presidents Martin Jischke and France Cordova is helping this time around, too.
