President Barack Obama plans to visit Allison Transmission in Indianapolis Friday.

President Barack Obama has rescheduled his trip to Allison Transmission for Friday. The President was set to make the appearance last month, but was forced to cancel at the last minute.  He will tour the facilities before speaking to workers about his long term plan to protect consumers against rising oil prices and decrease oil imports.  Allison has 2,500 employees and recently announced a plan to expand its headquarters and create more than 200 new jobs.
