President Barack Obama and Vice-President Biden are visiting Kokomo Tuesday.
President Barack Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden are traveling to Kokomo next week. Their visit on Tuesday is part of the White House to Main Street tour.
A press release from the White House touts how Kokomo has benefitted from the Recovery Act and the Administration’s auto restructuring plan. Chrysler, for example, has invested $300 million to modernize and retool its transmission plant in Kokomo.
President Obama last visited Kokomo in April 2008. Details about the time and location of Mr. Obama’s upcoming visit have not been released. It’s also unclear whether the event will be open to the public.
