The Bloomington Police confirm they are in contact with authorities in New Albany.
The Bloomington Police Department has confirmed that while they are in contact with authorities in New Albany, they have no reason to believe that accused murderer William Clyde Gibson is linked to the Lauren Spierer case.
Gibson, who has confessed to killing two women, was arrested last month in Floyd County. More human remains were found on his property last week.
The Bloomington Police say the only reason they are investigating is that Gibson appears to have targeted women as his victims.
