The B-line Trail is a total of 3.1 miles and runs from Adams Street through downtown Bloomington to Country Club Drive

Police are investigating two robberies on the B-Line Trail within the last week.

The first robbery happened last Thursday, July 24, and the most recent incident happened Monday. Police say both robberies happened late at night and half a mile away from each other.

Runner Taylor White says she thinks the trail may not be as safe as it could be, but still seems safe to her.

“If you go too far, at the ends, it’s not as well-lit, a lot less traffic whether it’s people or bikers,” White says. ‘”But downtown area seems pretty safe.”

More officers will be patrolling the trail and anyone in the area is urged to carry phones and report any suspicious activity.
