Police Advise Motorists to Stay Off Roads

Indiana State Police are advising motorists to stay off the roads unless they absolutely have to be out this morning.

Indiana State Police are advising motorists to stay off the roads unless they absolutely have to be out this morning. Crews are working a number of slide offs.  The worst areas are Monroe, Morgan, Brown, Greene, Lawrence, and Owen Counties.  If drivers have to get out police say to drive slow and use extra caution.  Roadways, especially the secondary roads are extremely slick and hazardous.  Police ask drivers to make room for snow plows and salt trucks and if possible change lanes when passing emergency equipment.
