Police Action Shooting Results In Death Of Brown County Man

Troy D. Harden, 44, was killed while sheriff's deputies were attempting to serve an arrest warrant.

Indiana State Police are investigating a Thursday night shooting near Nashville, Ind., that killed a man.

The Brown County Sheriff’s Department contacted the Bloomington post late Thursday night about a police action shooting that occurred just before 9 p.m.

Shreriff’s deputies were attempting to serve an arrest warrant when the shooting took place. A spokesman for the state police said Troy D. Harden, 44, died in the shooting.

The state police expect to have updates on the investigation by the end of the weekend.
