Printpack recently announced plans to add jobs here at its Bloomington office. Meanwhile, 230 people in Greensburg will lose their jobs because the plant there is closing.
A plant closing in Greensburg will cost the community 230 jobs. Atlanta-based Printpack informed the state it would terminate the employees by early 2011. Printpack manufactures flexible and specialty rigid packaging. Printpack also have a facility in Bloomington which is expanding after being granted a ten year tax abatement by the Monroe County Council in October.
