Bloomington State Representative Matt Pierce says he was pleased by the bi-partisan tone at the Statehouse Tuesday. He says emotions were calm, despite the fervor surrounding the property tax issue.
The House Ways and Means Committee has already announced a series of December meetings on Governor Daniel’s property tax proposals. Pierce says he anticipates that the House will be well down the road on the property tax issue by the time the full session starts in January.
