Two people in Marion County and four in the state have died of West Nile Virus this year.
A second person has died from West Nile virus in Marion County. The Marion County Health Department says no information about the latest fatality will be released by their office.
There have now been ten cases of West Nile in humans in the county so far this year, doubling the number of West Nile infections in the county the last three years combined.
This is the fourth death in Indiana this year connected to West Nile.
