IU players hold the Big Ten Championship trophy on March 5, 2013 after a loss to Ohio State.

Ohio State upset Indiana in the Hoosiers’ last home game of the season Tuesday with a final score of 67-58.

Deshaun Thomas led the Buckeyes with 18 points. Cody Zeller once again led the Hoosiers with 17 points while Christian Watford scored 12 points.

IU now has a record of 25-5 overall and 13-4 in the Big Ten Conference. The Hoosiers will take on Michigan in their final regular season game. IU defeated Michigan earlier this season at home 81-73 in a tight game.

IU still wins a share of the Big Ten Championship and can win it outright with a win in Ann Arbor on Sunday.

The game was also Senior Night celebrating Hulls, Watford and Elston.

“They’ve been phenomenal,” IU head coach Tom Crean says. “They have grown a great deal here. Their maturity is phenomenal. They did not walk into any leadership. To get this program to where it is at now, it’s a big story.”

Hulls says the team needs to focus back on playing their style of basketball.

“We definitely would have liked to have won,” he says. “We can’t dwell on that, we just have to get back at it tomorrow and prepare for our next game.”

who the he&l wrote this, a 15 year old aspiring “journalism” major? There are so many grammar/syntax mistakes, “earned” (scored), lead (led). “would stay tight”?

Not to mention spelling Zeler’s first name with a “K” instead of a “C!”
