The Monroe County Clerk's office is seeing a large wave of last minute voter registrations.
The Monroe County Clerk’s Office is extending its voter registration office hours because of what it says is an influx of last-minute registrations.
The Monroe County Registration Office hours will be open until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, which is the last day of voter registration in the state. The office, located at 214 W. 7th St., Suite 140 in Bloomington, is open until 4 p.m. every other weekday.
Indiana residents can also register to vote online at any time as long as they have a current and valid Indiana driver’s license or Indiana state identification card.
