Cerner Corp. announced today that Purdue President Mitch Daniels is the newest member of its board of directors. The Kansas City based health care technology company creates the technology and information systems for electronic medical records.
According to The Kansas City Star, Daniels’ position on the board is a new seat:
Daniels, 64, will serve a two-year term until the 2015 annual shareholder meeting, the North Kansas City-based health care information technology company said Monday. With his appointment, Cerner’s board now has nine members, including seven from outside the company.
