Mosquitoes Test Positive For West Nile In Miami County

Statewide there have been 136 mosquitoes identified with the West Nile virus.

Statewide there have been 136 mosquitoes identified with the West Nile virus.

 

The Miami County Health Department reports that three mosquito pools tested positive for West Nile virus earlier this month. The Kokomo Tribune reports it’s the first reported case of West Nile in the county this year. Tipton County has reported one case of an infected mosquito. Statewide, there have been 136 cases of mosquitoes infected with the virus.
