Indiana has recorded 27 cases of meningitis caused by a tainted spinal steroid.
A second person has died from fungal meningitis in Indiana. The CDC reports Indiana now has 27 cases.
The state‘s cases involve patients at six Indiana facilities that received a steroid recalled by a Massachusetts specialty pharmacy. The clinics are located in Terre Haute, Elkhart, South Bend. Ft. Wayne and Columbus.
