Indiana’s contest with number 2 ranked Ohio State is officially sold out.

Indiana Athletic Director Fred Glass confirmed in a statement today that a capacity crowd of 52,929 is expected for Thursday night’s game.

“This sell-out crowd reflects the level of excitement about this team and we cannot thank our fans, especially our students enough for buying these tickets and showing us support,” Glass said in a statement. “We strongly encourage fans to get here early to help our team compete in a tremendous atmosphere against a top quality opponent.”

Memorial Stadium gates are planned to open at 5:30 p.m. to allow fans to get to their seats and watch ESPN College GameDay on the video board.

IU Athletics have added 27 more ticket scanners, hired three more event managers and will place staff members on tennis umpire’s chairs to assist with long lines.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. in front of an ESPN national TV audience.
