Police have issued arrest warrants for three men in connection with a battery that occurred on July 29.

The Bloomington Police Department has issued warrants for the arrest of two of John Mellencamp’s teenage sons and the son of the IU head baseball coach.

Hud Mellencamp, 19, Speck Mellencamp, 18,  and Ty Smith, 19, are facing felony charges for allegedly beating a 19-year-old man at his residence in the 1400 block of North Lincoln Street on July 29.

According to the Bloomington Police Department, the man who was beaten said three males approached his house, climbed the stairs to his porch, and punched him in the face. He said he fell backwards and all three males continued kicking and punching him.

As the Herald Times reports, the Mellencamps say the fight was in response to Speck Mellencamp being hit in the face at a party earlier that night.

“Speck Mellencamp said he had tried to stop a dispute between two girls who were fighting over him and was pushed and hit by a man. He was upset by the incident and not thinking straight, he said, when he returned to the house with his brother and Smith.

Hud Mellencamp told police he and Smith were there, but that the fight was between his younger brother and the victim, who was treated at Monroe Hospital for his injuries and referred to a plastic surgeon.”

The three men are being charged with “Battery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury,” a Class C felony.

Hud needs to do jail time—he’s a trained boxer and should be considered dangerous if assualting another human being—and the 3 against 1 routine?—no better than the 3 Blacks who beat down the single white kid on the Florida School bus…so much for John’s message of “Love and Happiness”…what a fraud…and that bit he did on the Letterman show in June after getting slugged by Speck, and sporting a Black eye—wow, violence runs in that family and must be encouraged. Jail time for Hud, Probation for Speck…and John quit naming kids from your 3rd wife with names of a murderer and a movie…how many kids you got from the 4 wives you’ve had? Man you must be hard to live with—you rough with your women too? What a huge fraud he has turned out to be…pure White Trash…garbage…preaching to the rest of us and living a life of violence and threats…thugs, the whole Family.
