Grocery delivery service Green BEAN Delivery will invest $3.84 million on expanding headquarters in Indianapolis.
Indiana-based Green BEAN Delivery LLC announced Friday that it is leaving its current facility in Lawrence to develop on five acres of land in Indianapolis. The company operates in four different states and offers services to smaller cities like Columbus, Indiana.
Owner and CEO of Green BEAN Matt Ewer says the online grocery delivery service partnered with Cummins in a health and wellness program to help run the business in Columbus and it has a lot of community support.
“So we’re just going to continue to put good food out there and I think that’s the way that you stay relevant, you pair good culture with good product,” Ewer says.
Ewer says Indianapolis allowed the company a central location and hopes to add over 100 jobs as part of a 10 year plan.
“We’re growing our business like we like our food, nice and slow and sustainable,” Ewer says. “And we intend to stay that way.”
Officials say the Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered the company $700,000 in tax credits based on the company’s job performance plans.
