Kokomo Police Arrest Man In Connection With Hotel Robbery

Kokomo police have arrested a man believed to be one of three individuals who broke into a Days Inn hotel room and robbed to people at gun point.

Kokomo police have arrested a 32-year-old man believed to have been involved in an armed robbery reported at a local hotel earlier this month. Detective Scott Purtee says Raymond O. Bingham is believed to be one of three individuals who forced their way into the room of two unidentified victims at the Days Inn on South U.S. 31.

Purtee says Bingham is believed to be the individual who displayed a black semi-automatic handgun to gain access to the room. He says the suspects then confined the victims in the bathroom, and left with cash and two cell phones. Purtee says additional arrests are expected. Two women, described as in their late teens or early 20s, were also wanted in connection with the robbery.
