A nine-month drug investigation by the Kokomo Police Department has led to the arrests of four people. Captain Michael Wheeler says Demecio Ross, 29, is believed to be in charge of the cocaine operation run out of Ross’s car wash business. Wheeler says Ross was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to deal, and faces warrants for dealing in cocaine and conspiracy to deal cocaine. Wheeler says the drug market in Kokomo will hopefully feel the hit.
Ross’s mother, Sandra Ross, 50, along with Gloria Walker, 36, and Willie Hill, 57, were also arrested in the sweep. Wheeler says a handgun, cash, cocaine, marijuana and five vehicles were all seized by police. He says he expects more arrests as the investigation continues.
