The MPO listens on as public comment lasted for approximately two and a half hours at the meeting discussing I-69.
Update:
The Monroe County Metropolitan Planning Organization has voted to postpone the decision on I-69 until their February meeting.
The MPO met with Indiana Department of Transportation officials at the Bloomington City Hall on Friday at 1:30 p.m. The meeting lasted until nearly 7 p.m. with two and a half hours of public comment.
Indiana Public Media will have more coverage soon on what the postponement means for the community and, in particular, transportation programs that rely on federal and state grants.
