Students use the Jackson Creek Trail to head home after school.
Bloomington residents don’t have to go very far to enjoy one of the state’s best trails. The city’s Jackson Creek Trail has been named “Outstanding Park Development Project” by the Indiana Park and Recreation Association. The IPRA says the trail stands out because it links together two schools, three parks and several neighborhoods. The City completed the first of several phases of the Jackson Creek Trail last fall and officials say plans are in order to create a community-wide trail system.
