The President of Ivy Tech Community College is staying on for another three years. The board voted this week to extend President Tom Snyder’s contract, which was set to expire at the end of the upcoming school year. Snyder says the school continues to increase in popularity under his leadership.
Ivy Tech has an enrollment that exceeds 105,000 and more than 23 campuses. Snyder has led the institution since 2007. He says his goals for the next three years involve implementation of the institution’s strategic plan.
Ivy Tech is the state’s largest public post-secondary institution and the nation’s largest singly accredited statewide community college system with more than 150,000 students enrolled annually.
